COMO Uma Canggu is roughly 45 minutes’ drive north of Denpasar. On arrival at Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport, you will be welcomed by a COMO Uma representative, who will safely transport you and your loved ones to the resort. Echo Beach River Mouth

This high-performance, rock-bottom right hander breaks on the northern end of Echo Beach. It has a steep take off that lines up into a high-performance wall that – when it’s good – can run all the way into the beach. This wave is best at a mid to high tide. It can get relatively shallow and dangerous as the tide gets lower.

Sand Bar

Sand Bar is a high-performance variety of A-frames that line the beach between the left-hand point and the rights at the river mouth. These are really fun waves that work on all tides. Anything from punchy barrels to ramps off the end sections, this wave has it all. 

Echo Beach Lefts

This left-hand point break has a steep barrelling take off that runs into a nice long rippable wall. It’s a really fun wave for the intermediate to advanced surfer. This wave is best surfed at a mid to high tide. Low tide can get a bit shallow on the take off section and will tend to shut down.

Batu Bolong/Old Mans

The southern edge of the Canggu stretch is a perennial favourite with the longboard and SUP crew, as the long, lined-up rights skirt the lava reef. Generally slow and friendly up to head-high, it can handle some sizeable sets that will feather a long way out.
